On site Cooking Classes and Demonstrations

On site healthy cooking demonstration based on ADA guidelines: Classes range in length from 30 minutes to 2 hours and can be condensed or expanded based on client needs to provide more hands on experience and detailed information.

To provide the highest level of education we have Dietitians R.D L.D., Meditation expert, Herbalist, Alternative Practitioners, Cardiac Specialist, Cancer practitioners as a part of selected programs

 


  Here is an example of some of our offerings:

Option 1.  Vegetarian/Vegan cooking class; Easy creative recipes; utilizing broiling, baking, pan roasting techniques; demonstrating the use of small appliances to speed of preparation process. Class on hygiene & preventing cross contamination; information on what is contaminated food and how to recognize it; handouts covering each section of the class are provide.

Option 2.  Cutting the fat in your diet; demonstration of alternatives to cooking with out fat and the reduction of fat in recipes; understanding fats. Option 3.  Holiday meals prepared flavorfully-healthy; Traditional holiday recipes prepared with easy refined cooking techniques to create flavorful healthy dishes; Class on portion control is demonstrated and discussed; Class on hygiene & preventing cross contamination; information on what is contaminated food and how to recognize it; handouts covering each section of the class are provide

Option 4.  Breakfast-How you can make it healthy; Class showing alternative way to preparing a energy fortified breakfast; preparing advance morning meals; Class on hygiene & preventing cross contamination; information on what is contaminated food and how to recognize it; handouts covering each section of the class are provide
